This is how you break it down:

Manumatic = Tiptronic type systems (with Torque Converter)

Automanual = SMG, Ferrari's system

Not sure how DSG categorizes. I would call the DSG system an Automanual because the system has a clutch (2) that's controlled by a computer.
Yes DSG / DCT are like SMG in that it's servo/hydraulic controlled.
But with 2 clutches AND it's sequential even in auto mode.

Keep in mind that the VAG DSG system still tends to prevent you from over-revving the motor, even in manual mode and that it attempts to guess what the next shift will be....I took one out for a weekend before I bought my GTI and found that after the initial 30 minute romance, I could easily confuse it and have it burp as I forced it into the gear I wanted, not the gear that it wanted.
Prime example is trying to spool up the turbo coming into a corner by downshifting from third to second gear right at the beginning of an uphill corner, only to have the system ready to shift into fourth gear and thus waiting for it to clunk into the desired gear. This was very reporducible and after two days I threw in the towel and ordered a manual car.
Like most car rags, the novelty wears off soon and you just drive it like any automatic.

^ Another reason to stay with the anachronistic manual transmission with, oh my god!, a clutch pedal.
