These will include another world debut in the drive system sector: The first six-cylinder engine that combines the “High Precision Injection” direct petrol injection system, bi-turbo charger and “Bi-Vanos” variable camshaft control. The innovative power plant combines exceptional power output and rapid response characteristics to provide a level of efficiency never seen before in engines of this performance class. This provides a fascinating example of efficient dynamics.

the whole release was a joke. can't believe i just wasted 15 minutes of my time watching it. they "revealed" the z4 m coupe like no one ever seen it before. i know this is the production release, but it's not like (un)official pics haven't been floating around for a while now.

It seems quite sure that BMW will bring a 'surprise' to geneva.

And this surprise will definitely have a engine...

Its all marketing fun... you "know" its coming, but they want to keep you guessing until the end. I will be shocked if we don't see the coupe here. The only reason we won't see the coupe is that something "bigger" will be there to still the thunder. Hmm...

The E92 is supposedly at Geneva - but only off stage. In the same way like 1er was there in the 2004.

The E46 diesel demand still exceeds the supply - so BMW are delaying the E92 announcement as closer as possible to E46 end of production in May (since it will come also with diesels initially). The next planned intro is at Leipzig auto show in April.

Another reason is the Z4 Coupe - it is a completely new model and demands whole attention & promotion from marketing department: so they gave him the main role at Geneva. Same reason why we will not see the Concept there.

I understand that - BMW AG is rationally driven after all.

Rational company - emotional cars.
