Blackline on Pre-LCI, drive with parking light?
I have a 2008 E88 vert, pre-lci, halogen, no angel eyes.
I installed the xenon blackline lci tailights which look fantastic! But am I forced to drive with my ugly yellow front parking lights on? In order for the Blackline LED to light up during day time. Can I still use the automatic lights setting, and somehow code the blackline LED to be always on? |

I think it also depends on your car's SW level. When I first bought my car the rear tail light LED's did not light up with the DRL on. I also remember reading BMW NA flipped flopped on this issue. In the end, I think they went with the tail lights staying on with the DRL.
It might also depend on what your BC is set too. Look in the BC under DRL... and experiment.

It can be coded.
Most new cars IIRC, and all F-gen BMWs, do not have tails lit up with the DRL on. I would say it's less safe, but that's just how it is.
