First time posting, going to look at this one. Seems like a very honest seller, 1 owner car, spent the last 7 winters in Florida. It does have one intermittent issue and it's thought it is a wheel speed sensor, dash lights up like xmas but when they hold the DTC button the issue goes away. This is why it's sold as-is.

I'm passing on this car.
Here are the details since it's not a bad car.

1 owner, not abused and well maintained.
Oil pan gasket done about 30k ago, plugs and coils at 200k, AC replaced about 3 years ago, clutch at 160k. Spent the last 7 winters in Florida, it's pretty clean.

Esthetics aren't perfect, will need tires soon enough, it has an issue that is likely a wheel speed sensor.

The car was well cared for and the seller seems very honest.
That's all I got.

I passed on the one from Trader.ca too. Was called immaculate on the ad, but things that the owner mentioned when talking to them, check engine light was on, needed 3 new tires, rear window needed resealing, top had spent a lot of time down, and there were two little (1/8" diameter) holes at the crease points, and a dent/scratch in the side from a kids scooter

I just bought a very good condition 2012 128i this month in NB with 41,000 km on it. So yes, they are out there.

Well if it's never been winter driven, no accidents, you have all maintenance receipts, you've owned more than 5 years, I'd say $13-15K.

Deduct never winter driven, $11-$12.

No records, winter driven, owned less than 4 years, $9-$11.

Certified, add $2-3K to above
PPI recently done & certified, add 3-4K.

Also, I'd be looking at quality of tires, cleanliness, no evidence of oil leaks, Weatherteck, etc
