KW V3 or Clubsport 2 way for 135i

Hi all. Currently weighing up options for suspension and have been offered a set of used KW Clubsport 2 Way coilovers with adjustable camber plates.
Apparently they have done 12 track days over 9 months and the owner is moving onto competition spec coilovers hence the sale.
Anyway, the price for the coilovers is basically the same price as V3 coilovers brand new, and in my research I can't seem to find any definitive reason why the Clubsports are worth the extra money, aside for the adjustable camber plates.

Does anyone have any more knowledge on this? Can't seem to find any comparable notes on their website either. Also it would be helpful to understand the value of the adjustable camber plate. The car already has adjustable lower control arms which to my knowledge can be used to adjust camber, but I don't know for sure.

Anyway, appreciate any advice (yes I have searched). Cheers.

Clubsports are certainty worth the extra money. For the same price as V3's the Clubsports are a no brainer, they'll simply perform much better on track then the V3's. The camber plates will give you more adjustment over just your control arms, allowing you to run more negative camber.

Aside from the camber plates, the Clubsports will come with linear springs, uprated damping and overall higher quality shocks for pure track use. They really are a big step up from the V3's.

Thanks for the reply. Do you know what the difference is, if any, with the design of the shock or spring itself?

Yes, there is differences between the two. I don't know exact specifics for the E82's, but the Clubsports will come with linear rather then progressive springs (not sure if the V3's are progressive front or rear for the 1 series, but one of them will be). Progressive springs are not good for track use.

The overall quality and strength of the Clubsports will be superior to the V3's. They'll be valved much stronger to take the abuse of consistent track use and to cope with the stiffer spring rates on the Clubsports compared to V3's.

And as you mentioned they'll also include camber plates. Which for track use is basically needed as these cars require a lot of negative camber up front.
