car's okay, condition is okay
just need some detailing for swirls and also some interior parts needed to be cleaned.

is it normal for the temp to go 120c? cos i had only 102-104c max on my sls, just wondering..

thank you all for the support,
enjoying the moment.

Welcome back!

I have left my key in the trunk accidentally and tried to close the lid only to have the car beep at me and have the trunk pop back open.

I'm surprised your trunk closed. Do you have comfort access?

The feeling of manual is second to none, what most special is how this car moves or maybe more to a daily drive perception "changes lane" its quick and very-very small.. just now i was about to ran into a motorcycle but because of its nimbleness and agileness i'm good.

i drove it for the very first 1 or 3 km, it makes me smile all the time. not joking.

nope our options are restricted by bmw indonesia, to make the price of the car under 100,000 usd before tax and all, i think its just one of those marketing to market a small and cheap M car.
but now they aint cheap at all.

Jay-K WELCOME BACK!!!

I'm also trying to come back. Prices are dropping a bit now but still too high for me but I'm watching and hoping. This is a really special car. I knew it then but after seeing the future, I can see that while there are some really nice cars coming out, there is still something about the 1M to is perfect for me. I love the teutonic, clean dash that everyone else thinks is boring. I like how it has an engine temp gauge instead of an M235i logo. I like how the exhaust sounds without going through the speakers. I like not having to stare at an LCD screen out the windshield. I like having a place to stick my key fob in to start the car and take it out when I'm done. I like the fixed, firm suspension without a 'SOFT' button. I like the big bulges and that it only comes in MANual. I like the option of manual seats, etc. I know most think these are the 1Ms lowpoints witnessed by those trying to retrofit EDC on the 1M but for me, it's what makes this car stand out. There is nothing like it in the market except maybe the FR-S/BRZ but it makes more noise than power. So congratulations and so happy for you.

Yes,
the simplicity of this car is what makes it special.. i don't need the idrive.. i don't need no good sound system.. not even want to take the gorgeous bmw performance steering wheel w/ elec display. still didn't wish to have the comfort access even when my key is locked inside the trunk now.

its one of the last pure and raw m cars. i believe the m4 will be good, but there will comes a time to own it in the near future, as for the 1M, i just can't wait. 4 months without it is more than enough.

3400km, it is good, but the previous owner lacks in keeping the car clean and the paint shine.. but its all good. the most important is the drive!
