That's OEM M-sport for hatchback, and i added bmw performence carbon splitter on it. The front bumper still fits on E82/E88 too.

Sorry to be the one guy that doesnt go for this, but to be honest that just looks god aweful to me, and functionality-wise (of which Im sure you dont give a rats ass about) its bout the dumbest shit ive seen on a 1er yet..

First, drive over ANY potholes or large dips at high speeds and ur tires and def the wheels edges have had it.

Second, im sure the ride blows ass what with half the tire not even touching the ground mainly in the rear.

Third...you're running a 245 tire on a 10.5" wide wheel...WHY?!? I mean sure if not for that and the rediculous camber this setup wouldnt even drive, but for fucks sake a 245's MAXIMUM recommended wheel size is like a 9.5".

All for the sake of standing out in the crowd I suppose, yet I do that in my bimmer and yet my setup is completely functional as well as practical and kick ass looking. Sorry to seem like the "downer", but I just dont see it.. You must either be loaded with enough money to afford new tires and crazy expensive rims every other month or this is just you're thing. If so I suppose more power to ya man

[QUOTE=thez99;10769473]Sorry to be the one guy that doesnt go for this..

No, i stated earlier my dislike as well. I would never do this to any car let alone a BMW. To each his own. But i aplaud his determination to make HIS car the way he likes it bizarre as it seems. Bowlegged and stretched tires must be big in China... Hard to believe so many folks here like this look...functionality must not be important but if it works for him..enjoy!

Forgot to mention the ridiculous weight increase, which will be magnified by the fact it is a 120i.

If it's actually even drivable in any real sense. To me it's a fail because it's all show and no go.

Oh wow I have come back to one addicts, I really don't miss it. People who fit their cars like this do not care about function, so any arguments about handling, suspension geometry, weight gain, etc are insignificant. Secondly, we all trade around wheels enough that 5k-10k miles on a set of tires is plenty of time. If something breaks because of how low we are, we fix it. Because of that, we probably know more about how springs, struts, shocks, lower control arms, tie rods, camber bolts/plates etc work than you do.

If you don't like it, I don't give a fuck. Don't try to argue against it, there is nothing that you can say that will change our minds about what looks good in our opinion.

Fuck your CSL reps and heavy cast wheels you call "functional"
If you want something to be functional, buy light forged wheels like the Volk G2's I had (18x8 et45 18x9 et50) they fit and you can fit wider tires on them. Don't buy VMR's if you want the best functionality. They look good in most cases (sorry z99, your wheels don't look good) but they are heavier and don't provide the best results.

damn so much haterade up in here. a simple "i dont like it" woulda work just fine. haha. i swear when something is nice people will give the "looks good" "thats nice" etc. but when people don't like somethin they'll write a fuckin novel haha. seems like people care more about what looks bad then what actually looks good. lol.

Im not your BRO moron..ill say what I want. And yes my setup is kickass, if you think otherwise then thats your biased opinion.

Everything i originally stated IS fact, its VERY disfunctional as well as poor for any kind of road hazards, this is no opinion... And the FACT that he did all this shit because of wanting to stand out and be badass, thats reality, period.

Its not hating if its real life fact. If it was hating id just say "you suck you suck you suck please die"

I'm going to go with the former the latter are the ones that try to squeeze improper/non-fitting equipment into their cars and somehow try to rationalize it by pretending to be unique, non-conforming, pioneers, or any given combination
