Lets Hack the OBD2 Port and cancel Bulbout warnings
Okey dokey guys
So I've decided I want to hack the OBD2 port and cancel the bulbout warnings, after installing LED's into my 135i aftermarket depo headlights Have come across: http://www.siegenthaler.co.nz/navcoder/index.htm which works in conjunction with http://www.reslers.de/IBUS/index.html But, I'm not sure if this is the same as the OBD2 port found on the driver side in 135i Or is IBUS an older interface Can one of the gurus please advise, and if it is older, whats the current software option out there for the OBD2 that can do similar, eg. cancel the warnings / recode the lights |

im not familiar with navcoder but ours use OBD2. to code the car i think only BMW SSS, autologic, bmw technik can do it. the footwell module is basically the light control module.
off topic: your 135i did not come with xenons standard? i always thought the 135i had it standard. |

There is also a guy in Poland on the E90 forum. He sends you a cable and he will code your car remotely via the internet. That is also an option.

I'd hire someone but I havent been able to find anyone, i live in new zealand, so its a bit hard
Looked into coding success requires a cable and software, though the software doesn't seem to have a profile for E82 aka 1 series coupe Out of luck? Last edited by fatjoez; 11-12-2010 at 07:05 PM.. |

Why don't you PM that guy from Poland? Patrys is his user name.
When I talked to him a few months ago... he said the way it works is he sends you the OBDII cable. Then you arrange a time when both of you can be online. He "codes" your car remotely for what you want coded. Its sounds really simply if you ask me. Takes less than 30 minutes to code it. Dackel |
