Low Battery Code/Indicator??

Does anybody know if our 1's give a low battery alert or throw a code for it?

Actually noticed a slightly longer crank (one or two revs) on cold mornings. And it has been two years for me since I bought which is getting into the iffy zone on battery life in AZ.

There are actually two battery warnings according to my electronic version of my 2009's manual. On page 137 it indicates that there is a red triangle with a battery symbol in it that will appear if the alternator is not charging the battery. The same symbol comes up in yellow if the battery is discharged or not connected securely.

Cars always take longer to crank in the cold. I'm on my third winter on the factory battery and I'm not having any issues and I think I've used mine more than yours as the top has gone up and down a few times on battery power

You have no idea how hard AZ summers are on batteries. Usually reduces the life by at least a third.
But thanks for the feedback.

I wonder how putting the battery in the trunk affects their lifetime. I would think it might help in AZ where the issue would presumably be the heat. The floor of the trunk should be cooler than under the hood (where it would be closer to the sun and the engine). Just a thought.
