iPhone 4 music skips problem... Anyone?

Hi,

I just picked up 2011 135.

I had I-Drive with HK speakers.

If i use apple usb cable to play my songs in iPhone 4, sometimes the music stop for a 1/4 sec and come back on.

But if i change it to the Y-cable (come with the car), this never happens.

Anyone had the same issue I have?

i will try this tonight on my way home from work and get back to you..i have just used the one from BMW...

For some reason only known to BMW you have to use their Y cable.

my car was a may build 2011 with the hk system. i have an iphone 4 aswell and have only used the usb y cable but have had no issues like that

the only "issue" i have is that if i make a bluetooth call from my iphone while its plugged in, sometimes the music will not resume after the call has ended, and i must hit the radio button to mute it then press the volume button again to resume the playback.
