i have a solution... take the ballast off and drive with the top down all the time. That will keep the weight at the back of the car!

given I wasnt looking for it, I dont recall seeing anything like THAT under my car. I do remember watching horsepower or musclecar or one of those other car enthusiast shows and recall seeing something exactly like that in the TRUNK of the car and it was filled with something... Dont exactly remember why but I think it was in a 69 firebird convertible

well, according to realoem, its a 10.150kg weight that is held by 2 bolts at the back support bar
funny how it goes there, with some lightweight parts upfront, i think this could be removed safely

I don't have one either and the steel bumper isn't that heavy. Also with easy areas like the battery and rear seats you need to remove weight from the front where easy savings are much harder to come by. Or the car will get lighter but unbalanced, which will make it faster but the handling will suffer.
