But isn't the M3 way better? I mean, it has a real M motor!

I mean come on, the only difference between the 1M and a 128i is the motor and sub-frames.

That was exactly the same point at which I realized it is futile to argue with this man...I am glad I'm not the only one...I thought I was going crazy

This is like asking why everyone is angry to a guy who was driving on the wrong side of the road. Yeah, he might be a good person but well ...he is usually on the wrong side of opinions and feelings.

Anyway - to the OP - he was wearing a //M shirt - that should say everything. So little confidence in himself as a person he has to define who is by what he drives. Pretty sure most M3 drives aren't like that but you'll find some. Yes what we drive will say something about us but it shouldn't be the major definition of who we are.

I hate getting in on a post when there are 3 pages of comments already. I read some of them, and realized that is 20 minutes of my life I will never get back. Really a waste to argue about it. No argument from me - I have both, and both are great.
