Whats next upgrade for IRS or just go fit a 9" diff live axle
AD engineering has a kit to swap in a ford 8.8 rear end.

My car runs a full M3 V8 rear end including cradle with less than 2000km on it, so not worried about the diff with all the centre options available should it prove troublesome down the track. Not racing so the AD 8.8 is over the top at this stage.

Looking good guys, sorry i'm not there to help but i think you have it all under control.
There is a lot of talk about intercoolers, i think that most of the BMW guys simply don't understand how important IAT is. The cooler it is the better it is not only for performance but more importantly for engine durability.

Some think ITS TO BIG well if you are using a cheap China bar and plate core with poor air flow you are correct, it's just a large brick and a waste of time.

Back in my GTR days 1993-2000 we used a Trust Tube and fin intercooler
700X300X165mm thick, Inlet temps never went over 45deg C even during full competition at the track, not just 6 laps we would run for six hours. Banging out 450KW @ The tyres.

My point here is, for performance and reliability BIG IS BEST and tube and fin is the way to go..

Justin, Marty and Mike know what they are doing, you should all Listen and take notes. Thank god there are guys out there with so much love for this under rated platform.

Hats off to you guys, well done and keep up with the pictures and information.

Nice sentiments, Peter. Please state for the record that this is not a John Laws moment with cash for comments.

IATs are important but people still stand by DCI's, they run big intercoolers and then suck hot air in and argue it doesn't make a difference.

Which is precisely why we will run filters in a custom air box sucking fresh air for this beastie. Doing an ST kit properly means doing it properly.

Agreed, it will have to come off at some stage for powder-coat or anodising. Probably when the turbo kit comes off for replication.

Wow man that manifold looks insane. The N54 is horrendously ugly stock, that really helps it out!

The FF is a nice bit of kit. I'm sure there's a little performance in it too for the big HP cars but the look justifies the spend alone IMHO.

Lots of engine bay clean up being done by martymil that will also help the final look down the road.

Its getting worked on but the fabricator is slow and meticulous, it wont be here for at least a couple of more months and then we have to test and fine tune

If we had wads of cash to throw at the fabricator it would get finished quickly but it would make the kit super expensive so he does it in his spare time
