If you're open to suggestions, I'd say...do the 1M vents. You'd get a much cleaner looking finish.
Link to them please

Ralph1M > Links and parts below. Here is what I would do (and actually DID) -- for a long time. Let me also preface by saying, that I was one of the few who bought the 1M-Style bumper from kerscher-tuning...when it was only available in fiberglass.

I would remove the 135i ducts/brake-cooling ducts and install the 1M ducts. Unless you autoX, removing these ducts will not affect you. The Right side duct, bolts right into oil-cooler. The Left side duct, you can modify with a dremel (to clear the horns) and secure to the bumper.

It'll look really clean. Trust me. If you need help figuring it out, let me know:

Parts:
51748051605 - Air Duct L
51748051606 - Air Duct R

Check my posts & conversation here:
http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1056904

Note: I wouldn't even modify/merge the ducts to enable brake cooling to be honest. You just end up damaging your OEM ducts which are expensive to replace when/if you go back to stock.

The part number for those air ducts are completely different than the 135i ones? I ask because I never took them off or looked at them closely

Ralph1M > That is correct and exactly what I'm saying. You should take OFF your 135i ducts and replace them with OEM 1M ducts. They will fit the bumper perfectly.

Also on the link you posted your cutting them, is that if you keep the oem ones? You don't have to do that to the 1M ones right? Are they bolt on or you still have to cut

Ralph1M > Some people are anal/afraid about removing the 135i ducts because it also removes the brake-cooling ducts (they are attached to one another). Like I mentioned, unless you autoX, removing the 135i duct system won't affect you. On that link, for that reason, I show you how to merge the 1M ducts to the 135i ducts.

I wouldn't do that tho.

Instead, simply remove the 135i ducts and buy 1M ducts. Like I mentioned, the right duct bolts right onto the oil-cooler. The left duct needs a little cutting in order to fit properly because you have the horns in the same area and nothing to bolt the duct onto (like the right side) That said, the modification doe4sn't take long and can't be seen.

You have to cut out the fog light mounting brackets and then do some modifying to make the 1M ducts fit the bumper and accessories, such as the horn bracket. Then you'll be able to install the 1M ducts on the 1M rep bumper
