Ultragauge mounting ideas?
Considering the purchase of an Ultragauge. Can any current owners post a pic showing how they mounted theirs.

I've seen a few custom mounts down between the radio controls and the ash tray area

Really? Nobody on this forum has an Ultragauge in their car? How about some other gauge to display coolant temps?
Little help please?

I haven't heard of the ultragauge. Looks like I have some research to do... One other option is using the "dash command" app on your android along with a bluetooth ODBii sender. Neat freaking program, but it will suck your battery down in hours if you don't end it completely after using it. Has lots of display options and logging.

I run a Scan Gauge II. It mounts immediately to right of instrument nacelle at the point where the dash steps down. Use Velcro to hold it in place. Downside is that cable comes our of dash at A pillar and just lays on the dash in the back of the instrument nacelle.

Hi Folks,
No help on the mounting, but I have an Ultragauge in my truck and I think it a great little gauge. Don't even bother trying to get the rebate, though. They'll come up with some reason to deny your claim, no matter how diligent you are. Cheers! Craig |

I use JB4 with stealth gauges to show water temp and boost

You could run the wire through the far left A/C vent and use a clip mount to clip it onto the vanes in the vent. The far left vent is REALLY easy to pull out!
