Impossible to add positive camber after lowering
Hi ! I recently lowered my car with ST X coilovers with a drop of around 2 inches. I went to an alignment and the tech couldn't align the rear properly, which left me with these specs:
Tech stated that rear bolts on the passenger side were stuck in rust which would certainly be correct since I live in a rust friendly environment. But, he said I would need adjustable camber arm to add positive camber since I'm lowered. Would it be necessary? Only the lower control arm bolt (the control arm were the spring and the shock mount) is stuck. Any input on this ? Thanks ! |

I'd take it to a different shop. Those specs look off to me.

Get it unstuck. I'd replace them as well but that's just me.

Sounds like he just wants to toe and go and can't because your specs are off and he doesn't want to spend the time fixing it.
Definitely take to another shop. You shouldn't need adjustable arms.
