e82 Indicator issue - Toolset32

Apologies for my first post being an annoying question...

Bit of a long post so please bare with!

I have a E82 bmw (1 series coupe) UK spec. I was getting beeped and and flashed, and when checking, it turns out my rear left indicator, and the left side repeater on the wing, are not working. My side repeaters were led eBay specials and I figured they could be causing problems, so I swapped back to the standard units, all bulbs fine, but still not working.

I’ve been using toolset32, and I think I’m doing everything correctly, I use the job “status_lampen_kurzschluss_count” and when I checked the short counter, I had 2 that weren’t on 0.

STAT_FRA_LINKS_HINTEN_SHORT_CIRCUITCOUNTER (this was on 14)

STAT_FRA_LINKS ZUSATZ_ SHORT CIRCUIT COUNTER (this was on 17)

I managed to reset the count on these to say 0 using the the “_reset_kurzschluss_speere” job, and I really thought I had solved it! But still no indicators working on the left side except the front one. When I use INPA to clear the error code and rescan the error code just comes straight back.

I have no idea what I’m doing wrong now. I’m guessing I’m going to have to start looking for a physical short that needs sorting first?

Thanks in advance!
