Rattling issues
I know this has been asked a bunch of times, but i seem to have some pretty bad waste gate rattling. I am going to be bringing my car in to the dealer for breaks, indented dash, and a couple of other cosmetic issues. However i am running a jb3, dci, and Downpipes. My question is am i better off taking everything off and clearing any codes with the BT? Removing everything, but the downpipes and clearing any related codes right before service? or just deal with the wast gate rattle and bring my car in for the breaks and cosmetic issues?
Also what are the effects of this rattling, does everyone with DP's and a tune experience this? and those who have had there dash replaced, I have an 08 with the pop up nav, do you think they can update the dash to the 09 version? Thanks, any help is appreciated |

Remove everything if you plan to keep your power-train warranty. Definitely remove the JB3 and downpipes but I would take out the intake as well. The cosmetic mods are fine. If you don't remove your power mods they may take note of it and record it as a memo incase any power train warranty issues arise in the future. Just my 5 cents.

alright thanks guys. As far as the rattle goes im going to try and get a video of it becuase it seems to only be occuring during idle. has BMW been replacing the turbos to fix this problem? or are they simply just doing a softwear update?
