Open Allocations
1) Dave Walter BMW in Akron, Ohio- This has already been discussed but to my knowledge they still have an allocation available. Call David Theado, but don't expect stellar communication as my brother and I were left in the dark for a couple days. They will do European Delivery for US MSRP price... Future allocation 2 ) Kimberly BMW of Davenport, Iowa - Asking $5K over MSRP. Future Allocation (M3 Adjuster) 3) BMW of Eugene, Oregon- Contact Sam Hill. This is for a fall allocation anticipated (M3 Adjuster) Sam Hill says they have a couple people already on a waiting list and would accept another person for a deposit of $1,000 (Texas F1) 4) Townsend BMW in Tuscaloosa, Alabama- Fall allocation anticipated (M3 Adjuster) HOWEVER member "Texas F1" reports he contacted a Mr. Jason Bell at the dealer who says they have no allocation currently available. 5) BMW of Charlottesville, Virginia- Had an available Fall allocation at MSRP as of 6 weeks ago or so. Contact Phil Marx. (MDORPHIN) 6) Sun Motorcars BMW in Mechanicsburg, PA- Possibly a spot available according to T1T2GRE. There was a customer behind him in line but spot MAY be open, it's worth a call. Contact Scott Holl. (T1T2GRE) Cars Available 1) Classic BMW in Willoughby, Ohio- This dealer says they just sold their open allocation but I guess today they just got in a BSM 1M fully loaded. They are asking MSRP+$2,500 2) Tomkinson BMW in Fort Wayne, Indiana- They have one on order that will be available in December and are asking [MSRP for local buyers, $5,000 over MSRP for non-local buyers]. Contact Sarah Gavin. *POSSIBLY SOLD* 3) Habberstad BMW in Bay Shore, New York- Velocity Orange listed here on eBay. Not sure what the "buy-it-now" price would be but give them a call if you're interested... or just bid! 4) A&L Motors in Monroeville, PA- Will be receiving an Alpine White fully loaded model. Selling over sticker (of course) but no sure how much. Contact the dealership for further info. 5) Morristown BMW of Morristown, NJ- Valencia Orange with Premium Pkg, including Premium Sound: Dealer is asking $83,400 I'll post more as I know them because we're on some waiting lists and the like. If you have information you want to contribute, PM me or post it here and I'll edit the list to reflect current information. Good luck in your hunt! |

The Indiana dealer (Tomkinson) indicated that they would do MSRP for locals... the 5K over MSRP is for non local buyers. I sent this info to two people that live in Indiana, but have not heard back from either if they snagged it. Both were in state but a couple of hours away, perhaps they are looking for a buyer that will service with them as well.

I also wanted to report that during my 1M shopping spree today, I also talked to Sam Hill (if that's his real name!) at Eugene BMW. He said they have a couple people already on a waiting list and would accept another person for a deposit of $1,000.
I didn't get a sense of how imminent these allocations would materialize, but Eugene is a college town and likely has an active BMW community. He seemed easy to work with over the phone, so this may still be a good lead. |

Never deal w/ BMW of Eugene, OR. I had a very very bad experience w/ my 335i. They are the worst dealership ever. If you purchase from them, do not have your car serviced w/ them.

Kimberly BMW of Davenport is my local dealer. I have purchased many vehicles from them. If anyone is interested in purchasing a 1M from them, drop me a PM.

I think these cars will retain their value well. It is a matter of waiting though. If a new game system comes out and sells out everywhere but eBay... would you be willing to be the person paying that extra money over MSRP or just wait a few months for more to become available? I know I wouldn't pay over MSRP!

It's a matter of supply and demand, and it makes up for all the grinders who demand $500 over cost on a $50,000 car- who is the greedy one in that scenario. Let these guys make a fair profit where they can.
