cold weather, cold start noise
I have a 2010 135i with dci, jb4, dp, and AA bov.
Recently, it has been stupidly cold in Texas. During cold start, there is this weird sequential squeaky noise coming from or near the BOV (i cant tell) or the steering fluid reservoir. I don't know if its a belt squeaking or it is from the bov. After the car warmed up, it goes away. Can someone chime in on this? |

Hey another Dallas 1er! ... sounds like the belt to me.. mine makes a similar noise but not as loud, and pretty much at all temps.

Yea I'd put a belt on it.. I know the noise on mine seems to come from the compressor but yours is a bit louder.. May be worth throwing some pullies on there too.
