The only thing that erks me a bit is that when people do have a problem with the kit Alex says to PM him with the fix. I am not trying to call anyone out here but why can't this be public knowledge so if the same thing happens to someone else we don't have to go through the same contact process?

I've never ran into any problems with the Alpine kit. I have it along with another local guy that I did the install on as well. I would recommend this kit for sure!

There's no reason that alex is keeping this a secret, the low beams, high beams, and adaptive headlights have nothing to do with the kit, they are completely different bulbs.

I only ask that information be shared about those that had problems and what their solutions were. That way if it happens again, we know what the issue is. This is strictly all about trouble-shooting abilities and sharing information on the forum. I am definitely not bashing Alex as he seems like a really stand-up guy that takes care of his customers. |

Hey, ad78. Is your adaptive working, or is the warning just coming on?

ad78, you were a huge supporter of Alex not too long ago. You even started this thread in which others have spoken of his ability to come through.
I know it can be frustrating when something doesn't go quite right. I even spoke of my own situation in that same thread. I know hearing it from me isn't the same as hearing it from Alex himself, but I believe, through my past experience, Alex will not just leave you out. Truly, it did take some time to get my problem fixed (yours may even take longer given the long distance), but it will get fixed; even at great cost to Alex. You got your adaptive fixed, right? Are you just waiting on another HID Halo kit?

Mine were intermittently going out over bumps and then just went out totally tonight. Was trying to get to the fuse box tonight to check them but it was too dark and I couldn't find the spare fuses/plastic forceps. Gotta try tomorrow with a flashligh

See, this is what I am talking about. How are we supposed to know if something is wrong if there is not communication?
This is the reason I did not jump on the GB. |

Sorry if a bit off topic, but does anyone know where the spare fuses and forceps are that are referred to in the manual? Couldn't find that info anywhere and I want to take a look during lunch.
