Great job guys I will continue to follow an could not be more excited about this project.
Thanks guys. Need the blessing from an admin I assume to set this up.

PFB front, and keeping the stock BMW/Brembo two piston rears? It all looks very yummy! Rear looks like stock vermicelli swaybar too. You swapping that out?

Can't wait to see what she looks like on the ground with wheels under it!!

Larry:

Yes, stock rear brakes; with a set of race pads they should be fine. As I am sure you know, 80% of the cars braking will be done by the fronts. However, it would look cool to have a big set on the rear.:w00t:

BimmerWorld will be testing the car at VIR next week and I will take it up to BeaveRun next Friday. A decision on bars will be made then. Current thinking is that with the JRZ suspension dialed in, bars will not be needed.

Alex, was the rear trunk shock mount under the carpet trimmed out by Bimmerworld or was it like that from the factory?

I feel 99% certain that is a factory hole to allow access. The BimmerWorld guys are great race car engineers and mechanics but I have never seen precision seamstress on their resumes.

James can correct me if I am wrong on either count.

This is a question that is certainly best answered by the guys at AAW.
The stock BPV (by-pass valve) does the same thing, unless you are running some serious boost, which I am guessing you might be, the BOV is mostly just for sound.

Definitely not boring people. A lot of us enjoy these kind of thing but won't be doing it to our own cars. We're living vicariously through you

Though, if you start telling us things like it "sounds awesome" you will be expected to post videos with decent sound before this thing is over.

Thank you to the "GP Oversight Committee".

In celebration, here are pictures of the One with the JRZ suspension in but not the wheels that we plan to run in OLOA.

Check here. I would not recommend it for daily driving, but it doesn't rub.

I cleaned up the junk that should never have been in here in the first place. Please don't mess up this great thread.

Wow... Nice sleeper looking car! Are you going to be doing any preparatory track events, prior to OLOA? If so, I cannot wait to hear your driving impressions.

It looks like the wheels are a bit more tucked in with the brakes you guys are running. Is that a result of the new brakes, drop or a combination? My stock wheels look a bit more tucked than stock, once I lowered, but these pics make it look even moreso.
