1M N54 Engine Mods

In watching the BMW brief on the 1M, didn't he say that M had specified different piston rings? Any other differences?
Look at the slide in the presentation at 12:17, and it says different piston rings and software.

Yes, different piston rings and software.

My guess is that the changed piston rings are also now being used in the Z435is and 335is.

Other significant change is a 1.4kg (3.1 lbs) lighter flywheel.

Isn't the drive shaft lightened as well?

does he not mention that the where the rear m3 subframe ends and the 1m subframe begins is in the middle of the drive shaft approx.?In fact i think he says the drive shaft itself is half half....
