Congrats, looks like a beautiful car. Think I see sport pkg, BMW Performance exhaust and blackline tail lights.

Car looks great!
I hope you get to take it to the Ring!
I wish there was a 1 series E82 with 6MT rental when I was there last summer. That would have been even more of a blast!

I lapped the Nürburgring 15 Mar 2020 around 10:30AM. It was on my bucket list for a while. You will always be faster in an Automatic & better able to quickly learn the track & focus on the racing line, would'nt worry about not having a manual.

I would like some anti roll bar, my 1 series still has a lot of body roll despite being on lower Bilstein suspension. I personally enjoyed the twisty Autobahn drive to the ring more than the track lap itself because on the Autobahn I was doing 200 to 250KPH for most of the drive.

I like this guys driving:

Please see this amazing footage:
Yes, that is amazing footage! That sounds like the scream of a supercharged engine, if I'm not mistaken.

My dream is to be on the Nürburgring or the Autobahn, but I can only dream of such things because I'm sad to admit that in my old(er) age I fear my mortality and am afraid of going that fast, though I love to watch it on video, and will live vicariously through individuals like you. Thank you!

I wouldn't worry Esteban, just keep to the right and and keep checking your rearview mirror for any GT3's or GT4's blazing towards you!

And get a manual transmission! It was a lot of fun driving an Alfa with a stick shift!

It's exhilarating being in the car, but when you are a faster driver the slow cars are easy to spot and effortless to overtake as they remain on the right side.

What I am trying to say is just go for it!

Thank you for those words of wisdom and experience, Gray_Panther. I shall remember them should I ever travel to Germany.

New to me amazing machine

Purchased a few months ago, 1 owner, 70k miles and always serviced at BMW dealership.
This car is so much fun, it will be with me for a long time. All I have done is the black grilles and 128i, tint.
