I know in theory how a splitter works, but designing aerodynamic aids for a particular car's body shape is a highly complex subject, so simply claiming that a design 'produces downforce because it's a splitter' is a bit of a stretch.

I ask to see if you have done any actual testing on the car to determine that downforce is in fact actually increased and if so, by what extent.

If they are designed only for cosmetic appeal, then that's something else altogether.

Not trolling; just interested to know if there was any data to support the claim and quantify much downforce might actually be generated by a device like this. Doesn't sound like there is, so I'll let it go...

I'd be interested to see what you have in mind for a custom splitter, do you have any mocks of how you envision a full splitter would look like?

sorry guys, i would need a 135 to make a template on. as i now have an m3. so if i did this it would still be some time. however if i do end up making it and you purchase the current splitters i will give you the one piece at whatever it costs me
