What's relevant, is that it's reviewed on merit and rarely described as being great for an 8 year old car, rather, being described as just a great car in the context of current offerings.

Really enjoyed this one. Still wish they would get the facts correct. The 1M doesn't have a limited slip differential it has a full lock diff nothing limited about it. The two turbos are parallel turbos one for each bank of 3 cylinders not sequential turbos and overboost is only available in high load low RPM conditions like flooring it in 6th gear at low RPMs. All that aside it was a really fun enjoyable video and reminds me why I love the car. Thank you.
PS. A limited slip differential usually has a range of about 20% that it can transfer power to the non driven wheel as opposed to an open diff. The 1M diff can transfer up to 100% power to one wheel if needed. Hence not limited. |
