A big convenience of a 1r is how many overlap of parts with e36, e46 and e9x with little or no mods, coming out retro using that same bin would invite a purchase too? These 2 retro cars show brilliancy and I like them but(BUT) $80k no way unless full support from mfg makes this a better mouse trap that beats a path to BMW's door. |

Sorta turn your 1 Series into a 2002?
This neo-2002 (from German-based Everytimer Automobiles) made me smile.

According to the January Roundel, the conversion cost $80,000.

I'd drive it. But I'm not exactly what you'd call unbiased. Lol

Saw it in real life at Bimmerfest Netherlands, where some of these pics are from.
Looks cool from the outide, but the stock interior makes it feel incomplete.

Very creative! But not sure if you can call it a restomod if it's not using the original chassis. Looks a bit weird to be honest. Not really my cup of tea but kudos for all the work.

I would definitely buy this. Love everything but the rear.
I have always wondered why more companies don't do this...retrofitting old classics on modern chassis and interiors. I would love to see this done to an E30. |

I dig the way it looks, but the price is a little on the steep side. Definitely a conversation starter!

It's cool but retro mod is risky business. Never forget the HHS.
The mustang Camaro and challenger obviously were successful. The e82 is just a fat pig compared to the 02 though. |
