I'll let someone else tell you about the other parts, but I would look into a stage 2, 2+, or even 3 LPFP if you're upgrading the HPFP as well.

Wouldn't call it dead, just a little quiet.
Plus, there are some other DIYs you could have searched for to get all your answers, and is probably how you put this list together in the first place.

Not trying to slam your post, just providing some clarity on why people might not be so inclined to respond.

Is N20 MAP required? What's the PN?

If running Meth or an E85 mix of some sort, yes. Otherwise, no. In other words, if you want to target over 20PSI, then you'll need it.

I wouldn't call the forums dead. I live above the snow belt and put my car away for winter. I certainly don't spend as much time on here when my car is out for the summer.

I ran into an issue with transferring over my wastegate. The threaded rod on the actuator snapped. Unlike the N54 you can't buy the OEM wastegate separate from the turbo (unless you order it from eBay japan). I believe the rod is 6mm x1.00. I bought a rod at my local hardware store, a coupler, and extra 2 jam nuts. Once assembled I tacked the nuts in place. No issues so far.

Get some extra exhaust manufold studs. I had two flange nuts get stuck and take off the stud instead. Couldn't get the nut off without damaging the threads on the stud.

And you may want to consider the FX-150 hpfp from Spool Performance. It's cheaper than the XDI35 and flows more. Although it's harder to find solid results and reviews on it, probably because its newer.

I just completed my PS2 swap 1 week ago and youy list sounds correct. I have an early '12 and may not need an upgraded hpfp, so I haven't gotten that yet. I ordered an N20 TMAP but don't need it yet as I don't have the octane yet to run higher boost.

Add penetrating oil to your list and soak all the oil and water line connections and you may not need to use new lines, unless you want.

Installed my PS2 today. Everything went pretty smoothly.

Added one part to the list that I hadn't seen anyone mention: 13717599292 - Inlet / intake gasket.

I'm guessing most reuse this but it's under $10 and makes sense when every other seal and gasket is being replaced.

Thanks to everyone who posted their installs and tips. It helped having an idea of what to expect going in.

I bought that too but was not required with the VRSF turbo inlet pipe. Unfortunately the VRSF inlet pipe fit like dog shit. I had to chop up the mounting bracket to make clearance and oversize the hole.

Agreed. I have the VRSF inlet and while it looks really nice, there are 2 grooves on the turbo inlet end that appear to be for an o-ring, however the inlet only comes with 1 thin o-ring (which apparently I sliced when I reinstalled it onto my PS2). I had the same issue with the mounting bracket and had to modify it to work. I mentioned it to VRSF and even sent them pix of the modified bracket upon their request.

What's your impressions so far? What did you do differently from the info that's posted by those that completed this upgrade? Any info out there that just didn't work for you? Not that I plan to do this again but I do have a friend that will eventually want to do this to his car and I'd be up for helping him. And I'm sure once my wife drives my car I'll never hear the end of her wanting it on her 335, lol.

Mine came with 2 o-rings in a baggy. They should send you replacements.

TBH I'm a tech so the install was easy peasy. Previously unfamiliar with the platform so I was browsing for tips and tricks. There was one allen head bolt that I replaced with a regular hex bolt behind the GFB dv+ that someone posted about (sorry, not sure if it was you). I also had trim the Pure inlet tab to line up properly. Can't thing of anything else of note. Either way you guys did a great job with your posts sharing info!

First impression was "where did the low end torque go" lol
It really only comes alive after 3.5rpm and pulls quite strong from 5-7k which used to be a complete dead zone before. The powerband has definitely shifted upwards.

Running E30 and only peaking at ~17 psi right now. I think the tuner is taking it easy and making sure all is well before cranking up the boost.

This larger turbo definitely has more inertia than the stock unit so shifting quickly is crucial to go fast. My exhaust is fairly quiet but quick WOT upshifts at redline make a nice little pop. Will report back once tuned properly.
