Car fob key buttons not working!!!

Hey guys i recently decided to change the casing on my fob key. Everything was working fine it was just old. So i had to cut the fob key around the edges to put the circuit board in the new casing. Its a noncomfort fob key. So dont think its a battery problem as it was working just before. But now all the buttons on my new key dont work but the car starts fine, just cant lock and unlock my car
