I was up against this problem a few months ago. I purchased the ARM 5" stepped intercooler and It's been quite nice! It has stock size inlet/outlet which won't fit hybrid turbo upgrades, so only purchase if you want to stay with stock or stage 1 turbos.

There is no cutting or modification necessary. The install took me an hour and 15 minutes and I was really taking my time.

It's only $297. From what I understand it's essentially a VRSF 5" Clone but with stock size clip style inlet / outlet.
