It's an annual event. Boston has run there each of the past 13 years and we typically team up with Quebec. 8+ hours of seat time over 3 days, it was awesome! Hope you can make it next year!

Crazy! Ins co has no idea that 23-yr car costs almost as much as the 135i

And you should be easily able to get by with ONE set of pads at Tremblant next time around

"Normal" for a 2,800-lb car, yes! Not so much for a 3,300-lb car! If you know how to change brakes on one BMW, you can do it easily on any other BMW model.

yeah the E30 pads were a cakewalk to swap. the calipers are so much lighter than the 135....that right there made the work so much easier, not having to hold/balance the monsters on the 135. took me a minute to figure out how to loosen the slider/carrier/whatever bolts, but that was it. and only having to compress 1 piston instead of 6?? i'm in love

3300? brian said his weighed in at just under 3400 without the driver. add a normal sized person and you're close to 3600lbs! maybe even 3700 with a full tank of gas. god those ht10s must have been dying trying to stop that much weight

6 pistons ARE cool, though!
