KONI Sport shock absorbers were developed for sporting drivers by focusing on exceptional road holding and handling properties, combined with an acceptable level of comfort.

The most economical way to get high-performance shocks on your BMW. These KONI single-adjustable shocks allow you to quickly adjust your rebound without removing from the car. The single adjustable struts are suitable for street and track days.

Short body for more compression travel.

Valved more aggressively than standard Koni Sport Yellows and can handle higher spring rates.

External adjustment located at the top of the shock shaft allowing adjustment without removing the rear shocks.

Though I like the option of having the externally adjustable shocks, and not having it exclusive to Dinan, I think that it takes about the same effort and time to remove the trunk liner to adjust (and reverse), as it does to jack the car up and undo the bottom nut to adjust (and reverse).

Of course, doing the trunk liner is cleaner than wrenching! Good to have options! Loving my Koni Sports still, Harold!

Koni Single Adjust Damper - custom valved

These are not the your typical Sport Yellows with external adjustment added. These are custom valved and short body as well.

If you are not going with the coilovers, the Koni Yellows. If coilovers, then the threaded body front struts.

This will be an upgrade if you currently have OEM or Koni Yellows.

Externally adjustable means the adjustment can be made externally from the damper. The Yellow standard adjust must be removed completely from the vehicle first. Dampers that don't require you to remove the trunk liner would be the external reservoir variety, which starts at $6500 and up.

The conversion kit for the M3 will always come with an external adjustable rear dampers.

You'll have to cut an access hole in your trunk trim over the shock towers so you can turn the adjuster knobs.

The M3 conversion only applies to M3 rear camber link conversion. If you don't plan to upgrade the lower camber links, all you need is a regular kit.

Thanks Harold. Hate to be a pain, but can I recommend that you update your site to show the M3 conversion kit with possible options, exactly like you do for the regular kit?

(addition of External Adjustable Rear Shocks)
(addition of OEM E82/E9X Front Strut Mounts)

The M3 style rear dampers are already externally adjustable so there is no need for that option.
