Koni External Adjustable Rear Shocks Available now!
KONI Sport shock absorbers were developed for sporting drivers by focusing on exceptional road holding and handling properties, combined with an acceptable level of comfort.
The most economical way to get high-performance shocks on your BMW. These KONI single-adjustable shocks allow you to quickly adjust your rebound without removing from the car. The single adjustable struts are suitable for street and track days. Short body for more compression travel. Valved more aggressively than standard Koni Sport Yellows and can handle higher spring rates. External adjustment located at the top of the shock shaft allowing adjustment without removing the rear shocks. Fits 128i 135i 325i 328i 330i 335i Includes: Koni bumpstops and mounting hardware. $278 each Buy here: https://hpautosport.com/product/tc-k...-and-3-series/ Last edited by HP Autosport; 01-06-2024 at 01:34 PM.. |

Though I like the option of having the externally adjustable shocks, and not having it exclusive to Dinan, I think that it takes about the same effort and time to remove the trunk liner to adjust (and reverse), as it does to jack the car up and undo the bottom nut to adjust (and reverse).
Of course, doing the trunk liner is cleaner than wrenching! Good to have options! Loving my Koni Sports still, Harold! |

Hi Harold.
How well do these work with stock M sport springs, RE-11 tires, TRW M3 rear control arms? Do we need to remove the trunk liner each time we need to adjust the dampers? I know we exchanged a couple of PM's on this, but still not clear to me ... If I get the M3 rear control arms (BMW or TRW) either at the same time or later, which kit do i need to order now:
Thanks.

Externally adjustable means the adjustment can be made externally from the damper. The Yellow standard adjust must be removed completely from the vehicle first. Dampers that don't require you to remove the trunk liner would be the external reservoir variety, which starts at $6500 and up. The conversion kit for the M3 will always come with an external adjustable rear dampers. |

(a) the ""Koni Sport Strut and shock Kit E82/9X to M3 Conversion" combo you sell is compatible with stock dampers, stock springs, and whether or not whether my 135i uses stock rear control arms, or upgraded M3 control arms? (b) the ""Koni Sport Strut and shock Kit E82/9X to M3 Conversion" combo comes with the external rear adjustment extension knob? (c) I need to cut two access holes in my liner, right above the shock mounts.

The M3 style rear dampers are already externally adjustable so there is no need for that option. |
