E82 1 Series on ARC-8s

Our customer @veldmannn sent over these shots of his E82 on our Flow Formed ARC-8 wheels. Black on black is such a clean combination especially on a car like this with a more subdued look.

18” staggered:

ARC-8s in Satin Black
Front: 18x8.5 ET45
Rear: 18x9.5 ET58
Spacers: 5mm front and rear

Tires:
Goodyear Eagle F1 Supersport
Front:225/40-18
Rear: 255/40-18
Typically we recommend a shorter rear tire, either a 255/35-18 or 265/35-18.
These are an easier direct fit with a wider range of tire compounds than the taller 255/40-18 shown here.

Apex killed it with these ML10s in 1 series specific fitment. Currently running KW v2s. Without a doubt my favorite wheels for the 1 series. As per usual apex made a wheel that somehow fits these narrow fender wells but was still able to add a lip and fit relatively wide tires. (Especially with the terrible kw coilover clearance) Hopefully someone can find this helpful!

Front: 18x8.5 et40 225/40/18 Michelin PS4S
No spacers
-0.9/-0.8 degrees of camber with kw v2s
No rub on turns but slight rub on bump turns, fenders not rolled
Wheel and tire are super close to coilovers but still clears

Rear: 18x9.5 et58 255/35/18 Michelin PS4S
5mm spacers
-2.0/-1.9 degrees of camber and absolutely no rub no matter what. Fenders not rolled

Yes, our 18 inch ML-10RT's clear the OEM configuration of the F80 380mm brakes. However, we can only confirm that those clear something as small as an 18x9 ET30. What wheels spec would you be looking at doing?

We offer the ML-10 RT with the same front and rear, the only difference is the front offset is an ET40. With that, we say the F80 brakes need at least a 10-12mm spacer to clear the OEM F80 configuration.

Thanks!

I wasn't able to find that info, but we typically recommend a 255/35 for this 18x9.5 ET58. This could be a 245 because it appears to have a slight stretch, but it's hard to tell for sure. Here are other examples to check out to help figure out tire size for that rear:

Gotta love that alpine white 1er listed first with race silver VS5s. But then I’m partial 😀. Can’t say enough about Apex support and wheels.
