CA Smog Check - Cat and O2 sensor not ready
Hello All,
I'm smogging my car for the first time and not passing due to the Cat and O2 sensors not being ready. The battery has never been unplugged. I had Cobb installed but uninstalled the tune approximately 2 weeks before the test. I have driven about 200 miles after the tune was uninstalled and an additional 200 miles after I didn't pass. Do I need to perform a drive cycle? Has anyone experienced this issue before? I'm thinking about taking my car to the dealership but I'm hoping to avoid having to do this. Thank you for any feedback you can provide! edit - My car is a 2009 N54 135i |

http://www.instructables.com/id/How-...or-Smog-Check/ I would recommend the drive cycle.

Is there a way to tell with INPA, Carly app, or some hidden dash notification whether or not you've successfully completed the drive cycle?

Yes, you can tell if you've achieved OBD readiness with INPA.
