Right way to make these 19" fit
I bought some bbs ch-r off a member here and having a hard time making them fit. I don't typically get into wheels but needed to replace mine, so please forgive my ignorance. I was under the impression they'd bolt right up, now it looks like I'm spending money to make these work.
19x8 and 19x9 Front tires are 225/35/19 Rear tires are 255/30/19 The car is lowered on this setup. https://www.bimmerworld.com/Suspensi...1145-1018.html My goal is to make these work in the most drivable way. I don't want to be a fast car you have to drive slow to get the correct fitment etc. Hoping to not spend a fortune, but don't want to cut corners either. I already had the rear fenders rolled but that In itself wasn't enough unfortunately. It is still rubbing in the rears and I believe the front too. |

Off the top, if you're rubbing the fenders, the wheels are too far out and you're probably screwed. You can't add spacers or anything of course, it'll just be worse.
If it's barely, barely rubbing then perhaps a little more camber at each corner will help (tilt the top of the wheel inwards). Maybe skinnier tires but that's no fun. |

There's an eccentric bolt on the inboard end of the rear suspension arm that the spring sits on. Adjust that bolt to push the arm further out and it will tilt the top of the wheel in.
Just know that adjusting camber will mean you need to get the toe re-aligned. There's videos on youtube showing which bolt and how to do it. The 135i rear suspension is the same as the E90/92 cars so you can search for that too.

For the front, you can remove the alignment pins in the strut mounts.
DIY here https://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=218440 To get more negative camber than that you'll need camber plates or the M3 lower suspension arm.
