I'm ready. All new track wheel set up for me so it should be fun and hopefully I stick to the track. Been doing to virtual practice too on a friends simulator. Pretty good stuff but no but feeling but learning the line and track layout is starting to sink in. Hopefully, I'll have a head start on a lot of folks.

I'm ready to roll too. Put some 295s on the rear this weekend. Discovered the fronts where shot when it was in the air getting the backs so 265s are going on front this week. That'll do pig, that'll do.

Not liking the 30% chance of rain, but should be a great time regardless.

seems like every event before this has had MAJOR rain... Certainly SCCA and the PCA weekends... and Driver's Edge was in January and was cold AND rainy... so i'll take the 30% chance in June. |

Interesting. I'm picking up my second 1M in TX this weekend, but driving back to FL immediately. Since all 1M's will be congregated at the event, I highly doubt I'll see any twins on the streets

In other news I'm getting a nice 'clunk' noise out of the back right suspension when I hit a bump. Just started yesterday of course. Going to look it over tonight, hope it's something simple. Why does this sht happen days before an event.. |

I hear you on that. I always worry something is going to go wrong right before and ruin my weekend. I have a Cobb tune that I want to install but I just can't bring myself to do it this close to an event without some testing.
It'll be good to see everyone though. Lawson you haven't chimmed in on the thread. Still a go for you as well? A teaser from last weeks M6 GC release party at COTA http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...&v=gkypW6ONWZI

Mystery solved. For some reason the back right tire is rubbing on the inside against the inner wheel well liner. Only happens on big bumps. Things look like they've about gotten to know each other now though so not worried about it. Strange that it didn't happen on my last set of tires. Of note, the right side liner intrudes much more into the space than the left side does.
It's amazing what you can diagnose with some packaging tape and a sharpy ;-) |

I just saw an amazing black 1m on 5th and Red River (around 6:45am). It had euro plates and sounded amazing as it was pulling away. That's the first black 1M I've seen and it looked sinister! It makes me have much more appreciation for my car after seeing another one out in the wild!

Amazing two days on track.
Many thanks to all that made this special event a huge success; planning team, corner workers, track marshals and all volunteers.

Garage 28
Had a great time at COTA. The track is very challenging. Here are some pictures of the Garage 28 1Ms. We had one of each color. Our plan was to do a photoshoot with an M1, but the owner left early. Can't wait for the next one.
