Is This Possible ?
So my dealer took my order a few weeks ago and immediately gave me the production number. I've registered online at the BMW site but it does not have a production date yet, however my dealer tells me it's the third week of Feb. How accurate is the BMW site ?

from my limited experience fighting through all this, i would ask your dealer if your order is currently priority 1 and what build date has been assigned. just speculating but it sounds like you are in the same situation as me. my dealer has given me a production number but not actually submitted my order. it is sitting in their system as a priority 3 order for the 9th week of production. they claim they will change it to priority 1 today or tomorrow. i'll see about that.

Call this toll free number 1-800-831-1117 and speak to a live operator. The operator will give you a tentative build week.
