I'm still learning about HD radio so bear with me. I don't question that the sound is a little better than regular radio programming, however, is the content actually different? My problem is whenever I switch over to regular radio there are commercials.

- sports package--I only get it only because of the sports seats, which is very nice and at $1000, what the heck -black boston leather--don't need but nice to have...i cannot imagine driving a BMW without leather -comfort access--don't need but VERY NICE to have - oh the car is for the wife so i have to get steptronic Other options I considered but didn't get: - I need navigation but didn't get it...I have a portable Garmin Nuvi 360 @$300 - ipod adapter--since aux-in is standard, I decided paying $300+ just to charge the ipod and integrate it the control w/ BMW does not worth the money Otherwise, not much options to choose...it's nice that the 135i has many standard features that I would otherwise ordered for my last car e46 (xenon, moonroof) BTW, since you are in the Bay Area, which dealer are you planning to buy it from? Did you already put down a deposit? Just curious |

I work in the South Bay and periodically visit the Steven's Creek showroom. It just boils down to which sales people are the nicest to me |

Dont go with the I drive, it better to buy a top of the line garmen at $499.99 (best Buy) with Bluetooth and FM transever. You can then make hands free calls (if your phone supports this function).
My only question is about the Automatic Transmition, should I go for it or stick with a manual. |

Exactly, HDRadio here is Seattle has a lot of cool live concert channels, talk channels, etc that only HD Radio has and I cancelled my Sat because they do play a lot more unique songs, but they are still looped and you can almost set your watch to what is playing each day. With HD now it was just not worth keeping.

My only must haves are Sports Package and Heated Seats.
I did spring for metallic paint and the iPod interface though. If BMW had used Nappa leather instead of Boston, I would have gone for leather. |

Looks like no way I can knock it lower than 42949.00
I'm gonna spring for the 135i. My final config...
- Going from a 172hp GTI to 300hp will be glorious - Black Sapphire Metallic will look timely and sexy for many years - Black Leatherette and Aluminum trim to keep costs down - Must get the Sports Package so my girl can drive this around too - Must have - I told myself my next car would have heated front seats and power seats. - Must have iPod and USB adapter for our household of iPhones and iPods |
