Pictures from my phone (apologise for quality):

Will be taking pictures of mine this weekend! I purchased the same kit as tyorll except AT and they look superb. Easy install, the only hard part was drilling in through the metal break pedal and trying to screw in the bolts behind the accelerator assembly as it is hard to get to even when you take it off!

Overall 10/10 quality for these ebay pedals! Almost OEM look to them as the M pedal set!

Pictures of the Ebay pedals that Tyorll had posted here: http://shop.ebay.com.au/3amotor/m.ht....c0.m270.l1313

The guy has RHD AT/MT and LHD AT/MT sets. Great aluminum pedals. I would hit this up. Best 45$ spent! Eye candy for those interested in greater detail for AT transmissions.

Enjoy!

Those pedals look great. I might buy a set myself. I'm a bit put off by drilling the holes through the metal pedals though

Yah... the brake/clutch pedals don't matter to much because they have that rubber sleeve that can go over if you want to take them off. It is the accelerator plastic pedal that you will notice if you ever decide to take it off. BUT they are only like .2-.3 mm holes. The dead-foot would look good w/ or w/o the other aluminum pedals

I agree with everyone. This is a nice mod and doesnt cost a lot. Just installed them and it was easy exept for one part. Lower right screw of the gas pedal was a big PITA to bolt in. There is not much space behind that side of the pedal to hold the bolt in place for the screw. I did it but it took me more time than the rest of this mod. I am just curious how did you guys handle this part?

I took the assembly off so I could easily access that side. However, I could not remove the pedal from the boot... which still caused problems getting into that small space!

I used tape and grabbed the nut and held it in place, then put the screw through and started spinning! Like you, I did find myself spending 2/3 of the hour it took installing these on that particular accelerator pedal. Everything else was a breeze.

By taking the assembly off you mean the aluminum pedal? I used double sided tape, attached it to the tip of my index finger, attached the tiny nut to it and held it in a very small place and put screw through. Looks like we both realized that using a sicky tape was the only way to do it without removing the gas pedal.

The accelerator pedal assembly pops off from the floor. It is held by the electronic sensor and slides on a metal plate on the back.

Unhook both and you can play around with it

So the ///M pedals are aftermarket ones? Or are they the Performance ones that someone added the ///M to?

When I first started shopping, I came across them on a 2010 CPO 135i and thought they might have come with the 2010 M-Sport pkg, but I see I was mistaken.

I kind of liked them, but didn't look that closely at them. Maybe all those ///Ms are "too much".

If the ///M 's are on the pedals in my pictures its aftermarket. The OEM BMW Performance has wider black grip things and they are oval and are diagonally placed. I don't think they sell ///M pedal sets...

I ordered a set of the "M" pedals (yes they are after market). Installed brake and clutch no prob but when I went to install the gas pedal it was about an inch too long for my 2011 1 Series M stock pedal so nothing to screw into. Anyone else had this problem or did they just send me the wrong set?

Great write up! This mod easily adds 50hp to the pedals

I am reviving this old thread as I am about to change pedals. I currently have the performance ones but they are too racy for my liking, I'd like these ones better

[IMG][/IMG]

They are far easier as no drilling is required and they are very cheap considering the gas pedal is the complete enchilada

Not sure if anyone is still doing this mod but I thought I would note. The Gas pedal no longer comes in 2 pieces and the black part isnt rubber it's plastic. Also the lower right side screw is a dummy screw that comes already on the pedal.
