Interested to see what people say, I live close enough to two local tracks (AMP and Road Atlanta) So I can drive my car there, but when going to Charlotte Motor Speedway last year I rented a UHaul trailer. The only issue I had was being too low, but couple of well placed boards fixed that.

Any standard car trailer should work, the car is tiny relative to most sold today. I personally have a 42' 2 car gooseneck, haul my '97 M3 and my wife's '12 135i, and could almost fit a third.

I just got a used 20 footer for my 135i. Was totally worth it. Previous owner set it up well. I added some e-tracks to tie the car down. First use at the track today proved we made the right choice. My wife loved having a "house" to stay in. I loved having the car setup already, backing it out, having a great day, then loading the car and driving off.

8.5 ft. I'll see if I can link a pic. Externally it's pretty non-descript.

Picked up an ATC Open Car Hauler 18' this season. Bought the factory built tire rack as well as an add on. The ramps stow away under the beaver tail, my 135 front splitter was still too low so I add some 36" wooden ramps to lessen the angle. This tows like a dream.
