AW 1M for Sale not sure how long though!

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
Sold

Location:
✓ Local Pickup Only

Item Interest
I put my 1M up in Autotrader a some days ago. There a many on there for much more than mine except for the black one with 46K miles on here. I simply went into KBB.com and selected Private Party 1M, Very good condition and that is how I got the price. I am having second thoughts about and I am at 51% to just keeping it now after dealing with some people. I love this car and those of you regulars know I am its biggest fan just sometimes life gets in the way of fun.

I have run into a few self-proclaimed 1M experts yet they call this a 135M, etc. or they saw one sell for less and ignore all the other ones that sell for more, so I'm getting a little weary.

So here is the link for now. I would love to sell it to someone that was not able to get an allocation especially since I almost gave up after months of fighting for it nationwide. I only got one at the last minute so I would love for someone to get a second chance.

Thanks.

I'm now at 60% keeping it but there is nothing I like or want more. If I sell it, it's so I can have more soccer dad funds. While the Cayman is the next best for me, it's too perfect. The very imperfections about the 1 like scary torque, ease to put sideways and even the exhaust drone make it MANLY and as much as I like the Cayman it feels Metrosexual in comparison. The Cayman is Pierce Brosnan and the 1 is Daniel Craig. I really enjoy your reviews though! Keep them coming.

GLWS from one 1M seller to another. I got my price the same way lol.

I am having the same problem with selling the car as you. It's such a hard car to sell!

If only you had this for sale 3 months ago! The only problem selling these cars is the value they hold, the price point is bonkers. There was not a single 1M in the country under 60k when I was looking a few months ago. How much were they new from the dealer?

Some were slightly less, new.

I actually wish I had the foresight to grab one brand new when I had the chance. Instead I got a 335is (long since sold).

If you were lucky to get one at Msrp 47-56k but many paid 3-10k over that.

There are 14 for sale right now on autotrader, not including mine.

Mine is the cheapest out there.

Check it out: BSM 1M

(No disrespect meant to the seller by saying this. His is a very nice car too with less miles than mine.)

I see you have it in the BMW CCA online classifieds. Do you have it scheduled to go in the Roundel?

I never had any luck with BMW CCA classifieds, but when my car (not a 1M) finally hit the Roundel print edition, I got emails from around the country of people looking for just such a car.

The classifieds are one of the first sections I flip to when I get a new Roundel.

LOL at Brosnan... no one likes the Thomas Crown Affair...?

I also hope you wake up from this ... tough love!

LOL

I would put Cayman R at Sean Connery, Cayman S, Timothy Dalton and regular Cayman the one guy that only made 1 bond movie or Pierce Brosnan.

Roger Moore is the like the new M5 with fake engine sound being piped into the cabin.

Have a few questions for you.....

Does it have heated seats?
Are there any options?
Does it have a clear bra on the front?
Any more photos?

The only option is Sirius, no other options no heated seats and no clear bra, no power folding mirrors or expresso maker. It's all stock no mods. What you get is an amazing rare machine. it has quicker steering than your 135 and probably lighter than 135. you also get a real cupholer instead of idrive and a lot more helmet room with lower manual seats.

Did you see the pictures in autotrader? I added An interior pic. I'm in SoCal never Seen snow and I drive a clunker when it rains.

It looks like you are out of state. I have some southwest points and might be able to work something out on air fare. If you have any questions you can PM me your number.

It sounds nice, but Im looking for a few more options.
My 135i only has the sport package and I miss the "normal" BMW amenities.
