New here!
Hi guys,
New here, thought i'd start off by saying hi. Went in to bib stillwell and ordered a 125i sport today! white with red interior and bi xenons. I'm still tossing up if i should get the 18" wheels as opposed to the 17" 207M, does anyone get them?? i havnt been able to find any pics which have them on... maybe too small? dealer said itd be coming in Aug so got at least 5 or so months to wait!!! starting the count down! oh, and if anyone wants a 2002 mini cooper, send me a message! trying to load it off for the 125i! cheers Jono |

Welcome Jono. Did you deal with Marcus at Bib Stillwell? He mentioned to me today that someone place an order for a white 125i with red interior...
I ordered a Titanium Silver 125i with M Sports pack, sunroof, xenons, sat nat, 18" twin spoke off him last week. I couldn't have gone with 17"s, too small for me. Comes down to $$$ though I guess. |

Welcome! Jono. You definitely have to get the 18's with the M sports body kit. Otherwise it just looks too small. Either that or just go aftermarket. I am thinking of getting a set of OZ Ultraleggeras.

I thought of that too Kris...only problem is, the option for 18 inch is only $1250! Then again Jono can sell his 17's to some 120i owner...

Kris, you must really like the BMW Performance wheels. It is gonna cost a bomb and it is not even likely to be light! But yes, it does look good.
Is anyone interested in getting the rear spoiler? I was going to get it, but was told the shipping is $550! Maybe if we get a few together we can just spilt the shipping cost... |

hi guys,
just had a thought about the options on my car. I think i'll be adding a sunroof (I like it but not too fussed about it, but everyone seems to tell me to get it purely for resale??). Anyway, that would deff mean no 18s for me , already pushing the boundaries... So that would make my car... 125i M sport pack AW with red interior xenons sunroof 17" wheels Kris, if your going to sell those wheels in the future, give me a buzz, i may have generated a bit of cash to get some new wheels. Way, what does the rear spoiler look like? is it that CF tii one??? oh and, any of you guys who went to bib stillwell getting the high gloss or tint package with their predelivery packaging??? |

jksgoh, Ok I'll let you know.
WAY, I really do like them. I'm not overly concerned about the weight, given they are less or the same as the current ones. I just like the design/color and it makes the calipers more visible. I have seen them in the states for alot less money, shipping is about $700. Maybe a pipe dream Don't think ill go for the exterior carbon bits - I like the diffuser but think some punk will snap it off if I park it outside :/ |

Jono, this is indeed the Tii spoiler. I am planning to get that and the carbon mirrors and the rear diffuser. The cost of the spoiler is only US$460 (around that - have to check), but at the moment the shipping is at US$550!!! As for the pre-delivery package, the only thing I would ever get is the tint. And I buy at least 1 or 2 cars a year so I always have to sit through those stupid sales talk. Don't bother, they are a waste.
Kris, tirerack will ship wheels for about $250, so I don't know why shipping would be $700! As for the diffuser, you are right. Someone will probably steal it! Maybe I should just buy the carbon mirror and spoiler, and forget the diffuser. The diffuser is also the most expensive item at US$1450. |

Oh btw Jono, if you don't end up buying the wheels from Kris, you can buy it from me. I am soucing 2 sets of new aftermartket wheels right now, one for the street and the other for track. Both will be anthracite or black. The black and white look is what I am going for in my 135i.

So who else used to own a MINI here? I had the very first MCS at my dealership. I remember the excitement of waiting for that car. Very similar to this one actually. Wasn't this excited waiting for some of the other cars I have owned though.

No no, Tirerack doesn't sell the BMW Performance wheels. I am merely pointing out that they can ship me a set of wheels for that much money. As for the carbon stuff, I would think that they are pretty sturdy - but that is not to say that someone can't nick it! I would still love to have them though...provided I can get half decent shipping for them.

Might be of help if you give a bit of detail on the 120i...not that I am interested in buying though. I wonder if the mods will let us have our own sticky "For Sale" thread? Who are the mods? Can we ask? It makes no sense for us to post it in the global For Sale thread as we are so far from everyone...
