Body/panel shop recommendations and parts suppliers VIC.

G'day all,

I'm on the hunt for a good body shop in VIC, preferably Geelong but I can travel.

I'll be starting a 1M conversion soon and as you're all aware, the rear arches are a worrying process. I have read the various 1M conversion threads, thanks to those guys for the sharing, so I understand the rear quarter options.

Any recommendations on trustworthy panel shops down here would be much appreciated.

The other thing I've read about is resistance from BMW to sell parts without the VIN# for the correct model. I haven't contacted BMW yet as I wanted to be prepared so I can get what I need. What's the gossip on this? Should I find a way of getting a 1M VIN, or are they a bit more chill down here than other places?
