1M Single to S65 DCT Conversion

Productive day! got the mid all bolted in. Sadly we dyed the oil system and saw a small drip coming from the oil filter housing gasket… the only gasket I didn't replace. Desperately need a fab shop that's not going to slaughter me to make a y-pipe…

May still be on track for alignment this week. I'm sure they will hate me 😂

Lots of wiring work today. Retrofitted the premium Audio system back into the 1M in order to keep the ProLogic amp and single antenna module (TCU + MULF). Engine back apart , maybe upgrade more junk while I'm here.

It's the full DO88 cooling system for a E9x M3 DCT.

Wiring wasn't too bad , oddly enough the M3 harness is grounded differently on like for like plugs. Waiting on new pulleys then maybe on the road!

Sooner or later I need to clean her up better. put all new pulleys, bolts, and caps while doing the OFHG. Final assembly begins again…

Final stretch , still sorting the power steering 1M res but was able to move her on her own power!

To use the 1M ps res, you need to cut the m3 ps lines shorter and invert there position: bottom hose goes to top port and top hose goes to bottom port. I tapped both ports on the res so I can run an fittings, but more than one way to do it.

Did the e82 cic screen mate up with the donor so it's usable?

Agree, going the same route. Just got to pickup the hardware this week.

Yes the E82 screen works fine with the e9x harness.
