Hi,

I am a newbie on the forum and just spotted this thread.

I ordered my 1M (in VO) at the end of December and my dealer has now given me a confirmed updated on dates: production in week 16 delivery in week 20

While this is all very exciting it does mean that I am going to have to part company with my Z4 M Coupe

just hope that the 1M is as good as the press / BMW marketing are making out!

I know exactly what you mean i am going to miss the Z4, lets hope the 1M maintains the smile the Z has given me for the last 3 years

I sold my Z3M Coupe for this and after a drive in BMW UK's 135i (with all the BMW Performance add ons) I knew the 1M would offer all the thrills and the reliability of a new car.

+1. And if that were the case i would definitely go for AW. As it is its still a toss up between BSM and AW with BSM in the lead and ordered.

Got a call from my dealer yesterday saying that my car is now in production!!

They're still waiting from BMW for a response on whether they can deliver it before the official launch though.
