From the definitive source Urban dictionary: "Rice is used to refer to sports cars of Asian make who have heavily cosmetic modifications and little or no internal modifications"

Don't think the gt2 rs is even close to that definition!!

i use the definition of "ricer" as making tasteless modifications to perfectly normal automobiles.

the 1M is fine as is. this thing is a ricer.

as for the porsche.... i think you meant to say the gt3 rs 4.0, which is definitely a little rice with that hideous wing.

the gt2 rs is classy.

but let's make a distinction - these cars are only lame/rice if their owners drive them on the street. if they are dedicated track cars, then i make no comment.

All the holes, slats, dive planes, and wings on the Porsche GT series were designed in a wind tunnel and have a purpose. Those cars are homologation specials and are only created so Porsche can go racing. If BMW made a 1M CSL or something that included all the mods from the MotoGP car so they could race it in GT4 or something, it might be acceptable.

A bodykit on the 1M serves none of those purposes.

According to Revozport website, OEM roof is 16kg and their CF roof panel is approx 3kg. That's almost 13kg weight savings.

The sideskirt looks great, but I don't quite get what's going on here with the new crease. Are they cutting into the rear quarter panel?

Interesting. Maybe the side skirt is overlapping the body.

I think you guys have to see the car in real to really get the feel of this whole kit. The side skirts is a overlap and does not require any cutting.

I personally think this is the PERFECT kit for the 1M.
