How do I know if flat tire monitor is initialized?

My appologies if this is a repost. How do I know if the Flat tire monitor is initialized?

It always says "init" when I go to the screen regardless if I had just initialized it or not. Does this mean its "on" and will let me know if my pressure goes low in one tire?

Reason I ask is that I noticed my rear back tire slightly "lower" than the rest. But never got any warnings.

Thanks
Skimo

then go to a Gas station and pump each tyre according to the data written on
the inside of drivers door when opened

after that go to iDrive and when the car is standing still initialize the tyre monitor

if you read the owner's manual... there's a poll onhere somewhere about how many people actually read theirs...
the initialization (non i-drive)is done via the upper left side stalk. with the car on, but not moving toggle the flip switch up/down until you get "init".Press the buttin ince to confirm that's what you want. Then press again for three or so seconds. A little box with a check mark will appear. THen drive off. A you drive the car will initialize.
THe system is designed to recognize quick changes in pressure (blow-out!) based on changes on wheel spin rate. A slow leak or just normal pressure loss will not cause a warning signal.

scroll over to the INIT and then press once to confirm you want this option. you should then see a check mark next to INIT if it is intialized. if you don't see it, following the instructions above (or your manual) to initialize it. i believe yours should be initialized because the car will warn you if it's off for too long.

I never noticed the check mark. I guess I have to press once to get in there.

I will check for that!

Thanks guys
