I find this disturbing somewhat. I went to the link and clicked on build an M car. 3 out of the 4 cars are either a convertible and two M trucks. The only real M is is the coupe and even that is on the heavy side. Without the 1M in there, M is losing its hardcore edge. Sad.

Lol. It's not like this is something new. The 1M was available for all of one year and from early 2008 until the short reign of the 1M the lightest M car available was the e9x M3 at ~3600 lbs.

I started building last night but did not finish it. I had the page still open so I went through the build process anyway.

But, it did not let me select any options though.

Wonder if the computer caches the build pages. Oh well!

Now, I am interested in seeing the same happen in the German website; my guess is around May but if the factory capacity will be all sold out, then could be even before.
