I believe there is another piece that goes onto there, its the lenght of the bumper, but about 3 inches wide. It is probably on your stock bumper!

from when is your car? if it`s from mid 2012, the performance bumper is not fitting anymore. I had no problems with the install. I had the m bumper installed before and just used piece G!

here's a pic of the under side of my front bumper. little bit dirtier than yours!

How come performance bumpers dont fit from 2012 onwards?? did they change the design?

hmm. not sure... i'll have another look tomorrow at the underside of my car.

Were you coming from an M sport or non M sport?

I have a feeling the bit you are missing comes standard M sport cars but not the non M sport.

I've attached the installation guide, hopefully this will help you out.

On my M sports car the underside of my car is identical.

The problem is what, if i place the G piece, i have the 2 hole like your picture.

I think that is anormal.
If i remove the G piece , the cover wheel housing front are not fixed (1st pictures)

Thank you for installation guide but the guide is not specific for the underside of the M package.

I hope you understand my bad enfglish

maybe AnooooOH could take a photo of the under side of his car and then we could see if the holes are meant to be there or not

My underbody and the adapter piece were completely modified because I installed a carbon fibre lip which was originally built for the mtech bumper.

And atm my car is in the bodyshop because I`m going for another front!

Thread resurrection lol, does anyone know if piece G (51750432379) is required for an e82 with the m-sport bumper converting to the performance bumper? The install doc from BMW says it's not needed but I haven't found anyone that's gone without it successfully.

Edit: I discovered I do need the adapter piece. Found a picture of the bottom of the bumper on ECSTuning.
