This is not even my favorite M car and I want to smack the shit outta these dumbasses for wrecking 'em. I understand accidents happen but geeez! How 'bout realizing you've got something special and driving within your limits. Rant over, sorry if I offended. Passionate about special cars.
I profusely thank the OP for restoring these vehicles back to near showroom condition. Keep up the wonderful work.

Hey Andy
I just pm you with my contact info. Great job on the repairs. And I agree most of the people rather buy (that's if you do sell, a stock car rather than a modded, just because if they want to start their own mods. They don't have to go back and remove what's already been added.) I wouldnt mind to getting any of the AW ones. Doesn't matter if it's the first one build or last. As long as its an 1M, it's all good for me. And the way your repairing them, I can careless if the title is salvage. I won't be waving the around so it's not like anyone is going to know unless they sell it. Good thing your getting your hands on these great cars and doing a perfect restoration. PS. pm me back

Alright be honest with us:
after you put the new supports in for the roof, in your opinion is the chassis structure of the car less ridged as before? |

This thread is an interesting read...
Read it from the 1st page to #187. Stopped there since it was the last post I saw. Just *Subscribed* btw... Glassoman55 definitely deserves an applause for resurrecting these 1M's. I don't care if it's title is salvaged. I would be glad to purchase one from him if he is willing to sell it for the right price.

I am stunned. Wow. PM me, I may potentially purchase one of these cars. Orange or white, doesn't matter. Spectacular job on the repairs. BMW would be proud.

good stuff! You seem to have buyers lined up!
Can you disclouse the price of a damaged car? I think all you guys looking for a good deal will be in for a surprise. I don't think that the price of these cars would be much cheaper than the ones that don't have damage. I have seen used ones go for $48k. OP I think you should continue to collect the damaged ones, and fixing them. In a few years you will be world famous collector of exclusive damaged cars Hey, why not! And maybe somewhere down the road you can turn them for some profit! Or open your own racing school! |
